This document indicates that the above applicant is to be employed by Cloud9 Spa on agreed terms.

We are so excited you have taken interest in our spa!

In your free time, if service times allow, please feel free to try our other services! We also have a foot massager, neck massager, hand massager, and a heated seat massager for use when you are free. We also have a burner, toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator for use in the back. Please feel free to use this, or try our complimentary drinks in the front lobby.

We will always provide all cleaners, tools, sheets, pillows, music, and washer and dryer. Our staff will also help you ensure the room is prepared in between clients unless you ask them not to.

All employees are W2 employees, so taxes will be taken out and paid for you. We will provide the necessary form for you to fill out.

We are offering this part/full-time flexible Massage Therapist position with the pay rate of 50% of the normal service cost of every massage provided by the above applicant, to be paid on the agreed pay basis. Normal service cost means if there is a sale or discount of any sort, you will still be paid half of the normal cost. Also, 50% of any selected add-ons (ie: if the client wants a special oil, etc) are to be included in your pay, as well. All tips are yours to keep 100%.

We will reimburse any work-related expense (CEU class, license fee, etc) with prior consent. Just let us know beforehand, show us a receipt so we can make a copy, and we will add the total to your next check.

Checking here indicates you promise to abide by all legal regulations set forth by the state of North Carolina, maintain cleanliness, and always show respect to clients, staff and others while on the premises.

Start Date: TBD by license transfer

Please indicate whether you would prefer to be paid biweekly, or weekly. For weekly paydays, pay periods will begin on the first work day of the week, and end on the last work day of the week. Biweekly paydays are the same except ends the following week.

Right now, our work week begins the first work day and ends the last work day for that week. For example, we currently are closed M-F and are open Wed-Sun. So, our pay week begins on Wed and ends on Sun, and is paid every Sun.

Our current work schedule:

M-Tues: CLOSED, Wed-Fri: 1-7pm, Sat & Sun 11-4pm.

We are willing to accommodate other work hours and days. Please let us know if there are days you cannot work, or if you would like to work M & T as well. We can also open earlier, or stay open later, just let us know below and we can work with you.
