MEET OUR THERAPISTS

Carrie Templeman (She/Her), is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner, having attended both Lotus Professional College and the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She was trained using the classic Vodder method for lymphatic drainage, which consists of gentle, rhythmic manual techniques, without tools or devices. Carrie has several years of experience in manual therapies in both clinical and spa settings. 

 

Carrie approaches each person and session with gratitude and humility. Her sessions are warm and soothing, and the experience is both deeply relaxing and profoundly therapeutic. Carrie welcomes all people, from all walks of life. She understands that being on a massage table can be a little daunting for some, and welcomes your feedback throughout each session on ways to help you be more comfortable and at ease. In every session with Carrie, you will be met exactly where you are. 

 

Carrie is a Level II Reiki practitioner and holds additional certifications in Post-Operative Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Medical Massage, and Cupping. She enjoys using essential oils, stones, castor oil packs, cups, and energy work to customize each session and help bring the body, mind, and spirit back into balance. 

 

A native of the Virginia coast, Carrie feels most at home near the ocean - on a beach, in a boat, or eating fresh seafood. She is passionate about Ayurveda, holistic health, poetry, and enjoys being in nature and spending time with loved ones. She feels incredibly honored to be able work alongside those who entrust her to their care.
