Manual Lymphatic Drainage (or MLD) is a gentle therapeutic technique that helps bring the body back into balance. In this session, pathways of detoxification are cleared, allowing for the removal of metabolic waste and excess fluid. Extremely relaxing due to its light, rhythmic motions and effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, MLD is a good choice for most anyone, and can be soothing to those who don’t tolerate deep pressure (such as with fibromyalgia or RA). All sessions are customized to your specific needs and may include other modalities such as massage, castor oil packs, and energy work.
